Ebola! Ebola! Stay Safe! Ebola patient kidnapped in Freetown

So Yesterday there were lots of bbm broadcasts about a Liberian in Nigeria with Ebola disease...
Now there is a hunt in Sierra Leone for a 32 year old lady with the Ebola virus forcefully removed from hospital by her family. She has been described as "a risk to all"


The first Freetown resident to have tested positive for the Ebola virus is missing.  Sidi Yahya Tunis a spokesperson for Sierra Leone's ministry of health said the King Harman Road Hospital was stormed by the Ebola patients family on Thursday. 
Ebola is the world deadliest outbreak to date and it began in eastern Guinea and has since spread through other African Countries.
Meanwhile, Nigerian health officials have confirmed a Liberian man died of Ebola after being admitted to a Lagos hospital. Here are some symptoms to watch out for 

  • High fever, bleeding and central nervous system damage
  • Fatality rate can reach 90%
  • Incubation period is two to 21 days
  • There is NO VACCINE OR CURE
  • Supportive care such as rehydrating patients who have diarrhoea and vomiting can help recovery
  • Fruit bats are considered to be the natural host of the virus
